Dr. Jacqueline Nelson Mangatal was born in Jamaica, West Indies, where she completed her undergraduate studies in Physics and Chemistry at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. She completed her D.D.S. degree at Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington D. C. A continuing quest for more knowledge led her to complete a two year General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Centre in New York where she was chief resident and a Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Nova Southeastern in Davie Florida. She recognizes the need to remain current in dentistry in order to completely treat her clients and have attended many continuing education (CE) courses each year.
She is known for going the extra mile for her clients and continues to make her patients feel comfortable while providing comprehensive dentistry and more importantly patient education. Dr Nelson-Mangatal's and the entire staff's goal is to guarantee that each patient has the most calming, comfortable, pleasant and effective dental experience from entry to exit through her doors. Her calm and comforting manner has appealed to persons from all ages.
She wants to create long lasting relationships with her clients while serving their dental needs. She is a member of the Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends especially her husband David and her son Jordan. She enjoys reading, biking, playing racket ball and playing Kalluki ( a card game).
